Maria is an accomplished Greek actress based in Athens.
She has been working steadily in theatre landing roles in big stage productions and smaller ones. But the turning point on her professional career was in 2014 when she had one of the leading roles in the big hit stage play “My beloved Smyrna” and then its sequel “From Smyrna to Salonica”.
In 2005 she was nominated for the “Actress in a supporting role” Award, in Thessaloniki’s Film Festival, for the feature film “Galazio Forema” (True Blue). Since then, her participation on tv series and films include bigger or smaller parts.
She graduated from the “Art Theatre of Karolos Koun” Drama School in Athens, at the same time she was studying in Panteion University of Athens from where she got a BA in Sociology.
Her music education started when she was 6 years old with classical piano and continued with classical guitar and recently electric guitar.
Maria’s characteristics are her curiosity for the human nature and her strong belief that it can lead to the essence of acting.
Her motto is “Love is the only superpower”.
