Fotina is a bilingual Greek-British actress, born in the UK and raised in Thessaloniki. She spent ten years living, studying and training in the UK before returning to Greece, where she is now based.
She studied acting at IDSA in London, following an undergraduate degree in English Literature at the University of Exeter and a Master’s degree in Classics from UCL.
Fotina made her television debut in Greece as the leading role of nun Elisavet in MEGA TV’s “Mavro Rodo” (141 episodes, 2022–2023). She went on to spend two years (2024–2026) as a series regular in ANT1 TV’s Greek adaptation of “Grand Hotel”, playing Pelagia, a refugee living in Kifissia in 1925.
Her theatre credits include “Alexandreia”, directed by Fokas Evagelinos, at Athens’ historic Pallas Theatre (2025–2026), and “Astoria”, directed by Vasilis Mavrogeorgiou, also at the Pallas Theatre (2026).
Her feature film work includes “Savage Hunt” (2025), directed by Roel Reine, in which she played US Park Ranger Kate Deeks, and “Smyrna My Beloved” (2021), alongside several short films.
Alongside acting, Fotina has worked in documentary production behind the scenes for the BBC, Channel 5 and PBS, and has produced fictional short films.
