Pagiopoulou

Vasso Pagiopoulou is a Greek actor based in Athens. She was born in Drama and grew up in Athens.

She graduated from the Iakovos Kampanellis Drama School in Athens, Greece. She also studied Psychology at the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens.

She has a background in dance and was a volleyball athlete for several years. Her interests include Pilates, beach volleyball, photography, and the creation of handmade and scenographic objects.

In September 2023, she began training with Lydia Georgana as part of the workshop “Study on Selected Directors and Their Artistic Identity Throughout Their Career.”
Recently, she also started piano lessons.

She has participated in several short films, including “The Heart of Things, Not a Movie,” which traveled to international festivals and received awards (Portugal Indie Film Festival: Best Experimental Film).

In the summer of 2025, she took part in the shooting of the film “Last Call,” scheduled for release in cinemas in 2026.

During the 2025 theatre season, she took part in the play “Pairings,” based on Nikolai Gogol’s “Marriage.”
In the 2026 theatre season, she is participating in the play “Girls Shouldn’t Play Football” by Marta Boutsaka, as an assistant director.

In February 2025, together with fellow drama school graduates, she co-founded the group “Act 0.” The group participated in a competitive festival, winning 2nd place. In June 2025, they presented the play “Class Dismissed,” inspired by Nigel Williams’ “Class Enemy” and the group’s personal experiences, collectively rewritten by the team.
