Magdalini Kousteri is a Greek actress, writer, screenwriter, and director who has worked extensively across theater, cinema, and television in these creative capacities, as well as an assistant director. She completed her acting training at the Drama School of the Piraeus Association and studied screenwriting at the ANT1 Script School. To further refine her craft, she has attended numerous seminars and workshops focusing on acting, movement, and vocal performance, including extensive sessions at the Theater of Changes with instructors such as Olga George (Meisner Technique), Konstantinos Konstantopoulos (Stanislavski), Evdokimos Tsolakidis, Periklis Moscholidakis, Edward Lewis, David Llewellyn Child, Mihaela Mihut, Gamal Yakut, Elisabeth Ware (Multiple Acting Methods), and Alexandros Bossinakos. Additionally, she enriched her performance education at the National Theatre of Greece under M. Giannikou and G. Maniatis, studied at the Lee Strasberg Theatre & Film Institute under Rachel Bailit, and participated in specialized acting masterclasses led by prominent directors Manousos Manousakis, Pepi Moschovakou, and Lydia Georgana. Alongside her theatrical achievements, she has an advanced musical background, having studied piano and vocal performance at the National Conservatory of Athens, and continues her studies in piano and musical harmony.
She is also an active member of the Chóres female choral ensemble, with whom she performed their curated repertoire at the Greek National Opera in 2025. Academically, she holds a B.A. in Studies in Hellenic Culture (with a specialization in Greek Philology) from the Open University of Cyprus, a degree officially recognized and accredited by the Department of Philology at the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens. She is currently pursuing her postgraduate studies, enrolled in the M.A. program “Greek and World Theatre: Drama and Performance” (specializing in Dramaturgy and Performance) at the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, while simultaneously attending courses in the Master’s program of Modern Greek Studies at the Université de Lille in France. Multilingual and globally minded, she speaks Greek, English, Spanish, Italian, French, and Mandarin Chinese at various levels of proficiency. Reflecting her rising international profile, she has been selected to participate in the prestigious Balkan Young Talents platform for 2026, supported by the Beldocs Festival in Serbia and the Drama International Short Film Festival in Greece, as well as the “Pame Piraeus! Pame Theatro?” festival organized by the Municipal Theatre of Piraeus.
