Riana was born and raised in Limassol, Cyprus and from a very young age she was passionate about singing and dancing. She graduated from the University of Cyprus with a BA in English Language and Literature and then got a scholarship to study Musical Theatre at The American Musical and Dramatic Academy (AMDA) in New York. She also studied classical singing and attended various masterclasses on Educational Theatre, Acting and Musical Theatre in Cyprus and abroad.
From the age of 17, as a soloist of DIASTASIS troupe, she collaborated with many local composers and directors (Michael Cacoyiannis, Costa Gavras) and well known singers like Mario Frangoulis, George Perris, Deborah Myers and performed in some of the world’s most prestigious venues like Theatre of Herod Atticus (Athens), The Kremlin Theatre (Moscow), Palais de Congres (Paris), Langham Place Church (London).
A versatile singer and performer, she performs in theatrical plays, musicals, concerts, opera, film and TV and is always ready for the next challenge, the next big lesson.
